CI/CD Audit for a Large IT Company

Project Goals

Our Solution

To analyze and enhance the existing CI/CD infrastructure, we first conducted a series of interviews with engineers and DevOps teams to understand how pipelines were structured for each team and what tools were in use. Next, we audited Jenkins and GitLab CI (or other CI/CD systems), thoroughly reviewing build scripts, testing steps, and deployment processes. We found that each team followed its own workflows, leading to frequent library version conflicts and delays in release coordination. To address these issues, we proposed a unified CI/CD pipeline, where we: standardized Docker images to ensure consistency, integrated mandatory code quality checks using SonarQube, implemented build monitoring to detect failures or performance degradation early, introduced parallel testing, reducing overall build times, systematized artifact storage, allowing teams to efficiently reuse build results. All changes were documented and included in training materials, enabling developers to quickly adopt the new practices.
